The show is a horrible example that throws mud on the great Perry Mason. There is no way that this guy evolves into the very polished Perry Mason, defense attorney. And not just Perry, Paul Drake's character is equally as bad. Della Street's character is badly written too. Who's idea was it to besmirch these characters? Why is HBO backing this project? Bad idea, BAD. Very bad.
