While the devs have invested a lot of time and effort they’ve ultimately forgotten how a fun and deep game should be… they have built a huge universe that left me disappointed.

I’ll make this simple coming from a far cry fan for years- Open world - beautiful vistas but horrible HDR - white balance leaving rooms to outside make you feel blind. Landscapes are large and welcoming with good pathing options. Fight and shooting mechanics - the Auto Aim system makes it easy for any player to shoot anything, swapping weapons are a bit meh but that the same across the previous titles- chain combos are near worthless tho Story- possibly the worst storyline of any far cry game to date- you’re allowed to kill the bosses with little response however they can capture you at any moment with no real issues… you’re left to die a million times, get shot with arrows and yet walk it off, get drugged by the air it seems and walk that off… only to face a simple boring final boss that is hell bent on … well nothing really… Progression systems are unrewarding as you rarely need any of the traits other that a health boost or extra hostler- funds are hard to come by but only buys cosmetic things…
