I am having a few issues with this show. I have watched all the episodes from when they first came out and both movies. The second movie gave me pause. Watching it was a complete waste of my time. I would've prefer they didn't bother making it. The first movie was like an extension of the last episode and more true to the show. Now with this new season of AJLT, I have to say something about the styles these ladies wear. First of all I am a NYer. I have never seen anyone in Manhattan dress as exaggerative as these ladies. What in the world??? The episode before last, Carrie had on the most ridiculous hat ever. It looked like a deflated beach ball. And because of her age, yea, sure, she can dress nice all the time but most of her outfits look like something out of a caricature barbie doll house.. It makes no sense. The outfits make her look that much more older in her face. I think of Miranda in The Devil Wears Prada. She looked the part from her hair to her shoes. Very classy. Nothing crazy like that. Very respectful. I realize Carrie dressed a bit eccentric in her younger years but to be honest, at this age, it comes across like she is desperately trying to hold onto her youth. Her hair that long for instance. It makes her face look so withdrawn. At least give it some color for damn sake. also, with her hair that long, she also reminds me of her part in Hocus Pocus. Im convinced they need to shorten her hair and give it a color boost which would make her look younger and glamorous. Anyway, thats my opinion.
