Wonderful acting, story line. This reminds people in the Northwest what it really was still like after WWII in the Missippi Delta region, where the people struggled, made a small living, and could not be compared to the others of our great country. I'm just glad I never had to live during that time period much less have to make a living amongst the unfair prejudices of the South.
