This movie reminded me of UP, the first 10ish minutes were great, then you can basically leave. The jokes don't land at all for adults or kids. The characters have no appeal and there was no depth to the relationships. There were some great actors involved who were wasted with throwaway roles. The movie couldn't decide who the antagonists were, where the climax was, or where the tear jerker moments were. The soundtrack overshot the sentimentality of the movie by a mile. It's like it was written by a big baby pulling your heart strings so hard that they snap. Visually beautiful, worth seeing if you like verdant forests. Watch robot dreams if you like deep thoughtful movies about robots.
