As a fan of the Ghostbusters franchise, I found this film to hit on all cylinders with a strong plotline, engaging characters, well-placed humor, and outstanding special effects. I admittedly didn't enjoy the last Ghostbusters film all that much, so I approached this one with some trepidation; however, I was hooked a few minutes or so into it once the connection to the 2 OG films was established (Egon Spengler). I love the family vibes, the historical references & generational transcendence, and the theme of unfinished business depicted in the film. The casual moviegoer may not enjoy this one as much as the nostalgic ones like I do, but this film is definitely a hit.
