Firstly, this is no doubt a great game. But, as a long-time Tomb Raider fan, it took me a while to get used to this version of Lara Croft. She's constantly afraid and uncertain (which is understandable under the circumstances), but the Croft you'll find in this game is very different from the classics, and even from the Legend, Anniversary and Underworld time line. As for the gameplay, it honestly couldn't be better! Climbing is fun! (and despite what people are saying, you'll be doing it quite frequently!) The combat system is also great, although it's a bit much at times. Now. The tombs. Are. Hideous. Designed for a 9 year old. Seriously. And then there's that infamous line from our lovely wanna be archeologist: "Ugh, I hate tombs."
Sigh*
All in all it's a solid game though, the graphics are great, especially if you own the definitive edition (the hair! 😍😂). if you don't care much about the puzzles being easy and almost non-existent, you won't find a lot to complain about, honestly.
