I am very happy to see that the majority of comments on here are in favor of the movie. I am a Star Trek fan of the old crew BUT I fell in love with the three Star Trek movies introducing us to the younger versions of the Enterprise and her crew. I have not watched the new Star Trek shows(The Next Generation, etc.)and have no desire to. Like I said, I am a big fan of the old crew. As far as Star Trek Into Darkness, I disagree vehemently with those of you on here that trash the movie. (For one thing, Benedict Cumberbatch is 1000 times a more terrifying Khan than Ricardo Montalban was). IMO, it is not a “rehash”(as one article had to say)of “The Wrath of Kahn”, it is the backstory to it. How can it be a rehash when the two movies don’t end the same. We learn the history between/behind Kirk/Enterprise/Khan. The actors did an excellent job portraying Kirk, Spock, Uhura and the rest of the original Enterprise crew. I can watch this movie over and over again(and I learn something new each time)and in fact, I have. lol I enjoyed the ST episode with the tribbles and it was nice to see they are still around.
