Ugh..This book is awful....especially after having to wait so long for it. It is beyond boring. I kept waiting for something to happen...nothing. There are so many unnecessary new characters and DG drones on and on with their storylines. There was barely any Fergus and Marsali, no Lizzie and the twins and really not near enough Jamie and Claire. The warmth and intimacy with the characters from previous books were lacking in this book. It felt all thrown together. Plots go nowhere. No explanations of things that should be important. 900 pages of filler. There is no way that book 10 can cover all the loose ends that this book produced and the unanswered questions from previous books. This book was a total waste.
