The Lakehouse staff lost (or gave away) a Birthday cake after agreeing to safely hold it overnight. Imagine your birthday completely ruined, after your loved one purchased an absolutely beautiful cake for your special day. I definitely did not expect this from the Lakehouse. Management did compensate, HOWEVER, after an “investigation” as if we were being dishonest about a missing cake that was clearly given to the front desk staff.
