My opinion: "...There appears to be a common trend, in MAIN STREAM MEDIA, where'... Black man dies...' before the end of the movie..." Who wants to watch a bunch of movies where the prominent minority figure gets killed; whether: Asian; Black; Hispanic or Native American? Or, if the main character is a woman; and she does at the end; What's the point? Movie makers listen we go to be entertained; not preached to; or, have your diluted truths and philosophies foisted upon us in your pitiful attempts at being more "dramatic." At the risk of sounding trite; STICK TO THE ORIGINAL VERSION! The original is the one that made the story popular; in the first place. Not, some director's vision on how to re-write it. In closing; my Congratulations to the casts an excellent job of acting. Your director is a closet racist catering to white Americans who want all minorities to die for them.
