Impossible to put the book down! This is a really good read. I was definitely surprised at the end. So many twists and turns I didn’t see coming. People aren’t who they say they are. Secrets need to be kept hidden, and people will do anything to keep them that way. The murderer is the least person you expect. Be careful when dating, you might have the worst experience of your life. Everything is not what it seems. Love can last a lifetime, but for some reason, it might be too dangerous for words. Obsession turns people into the worst monsters. Must read, you won’t be sorry!

DAWN IS SUCH A BADDIE💖! To be honest, it was a great read. It was very predictable, but still filled with exciting, shocking moments that will leave you breathless. I'm glad everyone got a happy ending. Bullying can ruin lives and change everything; the happiest person can become evil. Revenge isn't worth it, but I'm glad people learned their lesson in the end.

Wait until the end; the epilogue is shocking and has a wild twist.

Can you imagine falling in love with your high school sweetheart and having to put him in prison for something you strongly believe he did, but now your whole life has changed? Years after the murder and attempted murder of her own life, she finds herself moving back to the old town where it all happened and now she's moving into her parents' old house after they died tragically in a car crash. Did I forget to mention that the main character gets pregnant by the same person she has to send to prison? The bad news is the only job she could find for the meantime is at a prison, and guess who one of the inmates is - the main character's ex-boyfriend, who pleads and begs everyone that he didn't do it, but no one believes him. Something in the main character's head thinks, what if she got it wrong? That would mean the right person who hurt those people all those years ago is still walking free. And if that's the case, she put the wrong person in prison. Did I mention her son is already living without his father because he's in prison, put there by his mother? Just wait until you get to the ending! Don't ever mess with a son that loves his mother.

The neighborhood has been shaken by a horrific murder, and Millie is the one who stumbled upon the body. Notably, this is the first time she is not the prime suspect. Currently, Millie doesn't trust her husband, but she is resolute in her pursuit of the truth. Furthermore, a special guest star makes a surprise entrance. Now that she's all grown up, she can walk the walk. She came to save the day, fingers crossed. Many secrets will be revealed, and you won't believe your ears. Accusations will be made, and you'll think you killed someone until it turns out you didn't. The ending will leave you speechless.

From beginning to end, I was completely captivated. Lately, I've felt lost, but this book has reconnected me with a motivation I thought I had lost. I have no intention of quitting; I will keep pushing forward until my very last breath. Each day, my vision becomes clearer, and I truly believe I was meant to read this book at this moment in my life. I’m embracing the reality that I’m getting older, and from now on, I will live life to the fullest and keep my mind wide open. I refuse to give up. While I may have felt stuck and focused on the wrong things, it’s time to love myself and family with all my heart. I am confident that there is a purpose behind my presence here. Every challenge I'm facing serves a greater purpose, and one day, it will all become clear. Until then, I will embrace and enjoy this journey wholeheartedly. NO MORE EXCUSES!

This book is filled with a new love interest and old lovers coming back into the picture. Many lies are being told. Two men who look alike but aren't the same - one rich, the other not as wealthy - are present. A murder that could have been prevented turns out to be a setup from the very beginning. The biggest secret that has been keeping relationships from prospering is finally out of the bag. The main character seems to have a secret guardian angel. Just wait until you discover who it is. Can Millie rescue herself this time, or will her guardian angel need to intervene again? No one enjoys being tricked or deceived. Will Millie's situation turn out okay, or will she be sent back to jail? Can a manipulative, gold-digging madwoman achieve her goals and get everything she wants?, or will her scheme be exposed? Is she clever enough to outwit Millie? Will Millie find true love if she manages to escape this situation?

I’m in love with this book. I just finished reading it and all I can say is, the ending was a big shocker. I hope this specific story continues, I would enjoy knowing what happens next with Mariana. If you’re looking for something to read or a new book to get your brain pumped and mind thinking, this novel will be perfect for you!

I must confess, Alex Michaelides is one of my favorite authors. I've read all his books and can't wait to read them again. I recommend reading The Maidens first, followed by The Fury, and finally, The Silent Patient. Out of the three, The Silent Patient is my favorite. While reading it, I felt tricked and betrayed. The way he writes makes you feel like you're a character in the story. The narrative is filled with pain, betrayal, and lies, showing that you can't trust anyone. I thought I knew who the murderer was, but the ending broke my heart. There are so many lies and truths revealed. I thought I knew who the murderer was, but in the end, I was shocked to discover the truth. Everyone in the story got what they deserved, but some deserved a second chance. The book taught me that honesty is crucial in love and to be careful when shaping your destiny. It takes two to destroy lives, and The Silent Patient's ending was brilliant and a absolutely masterpiece. The image of snowflakes falling into the murderer's hand was a perfect way to show that they knew their time was up. If you can't face the consequences, don't commit the crime. If you have trauma issues, this book is for you.

The story was well written. If you read the Maidens, then you’ll love this aswell. I can’t believe how good this was. There was so many twist and turns. There are plenty of trick and treats in each chapter. Don’t forget to read the Epilogue!
