Genuinely such a phenomenal movie! I really don’t get how people hated it. The acting was great, the plot twists were great, the themes portrayed throughout were great. Overall it was such an amazing movie that left me on the edge of my seat for the entire thing. Also, if your getting offended and upset that the women ended up having control, or that they were treated like objects that only cook and clean at the start of the movie, please grow up and accept the fact that in the time period when this was set (1950s) this was a ‘normal’ part of everyday life and women having power was a dream for them. The actors are just portraying that exceptionally well.
