Payday 2 offers so much that I have been wishing from other games Firstly, the atmosphere and overall feel of the very heist feels like I’m really a criminal in a heisting movie, and although the smaller jobs like the bank and jewelry store aren’t my favorite, the high stakes Big Bank and Golden Grin casino are excellent. Next, the gunplay feels really great. With 100+ weapons (some in paid DLC) it allows for anyone to stick with their favorite play style from other games. If you want to be a merciless heavy with more ammo than god, choose the Vulcan minimum and put your skills in the tank tree, want to speed around dodging bullets left in right, wear a 2 piece suit and put your skills in the ghost tree. Whatever you want to do, chances are, you can do it Although I have only talked about the pro’s of this game, I do have a few complaints First, the amount of paid DLC is wild. It feels as if 75% of the game is locked behind a paywall. Next is the most common issue me and a couple of my friends had, the AI is terrible. All the enemies are predictable and don’t feel threatening. Lastly, the lack of cross gameplay makes it harder for lots of people to get the full PayDay 2 experience. The only true way of playing this game is on PC with Consoles being stuck in the past. In fact, console editions can STILL buy the Scarface character pack. It makes enjoying the game with my friends who don’t have a PC way harder I’m my personal opinion, I truly enjoy this game. It’s a fun, action packed, crime heisting experience that hopefully will be made better in PayDay 3.
