This movie is an interesting and dreadful look onto the conditions of a modern man , in dread of his miserable lifestyle . This film is open to various interpretations and once you end your first watch , you are definitely gonna realize that you need to watch it again . The cast slayed their respective roles and beautifully enhanced the representation each character possessed . It presents a subtle idea at its base and gradually enhances the effects that idea has on the narrator ( Edward Norton ) . Initially , the events in the film presents themselves as uplifting for the narrator but , if we talk about interpretation , then its open to your head . Surprises mark this film step by step and it just keeps getting better and better. But , let me help you here ; it will make you question your own idea of self . If you are up for some existentialism to paint your head with , then this masterpiece is for you.
