Bumblebee is the movie Transformers fans have yearned for.
The opening sequence alone choreographed action in ways Michael Bay can achieve only in his dreams.
The film is a love letter to movies akin to E.T., The Iron Giant, The Breakfast Club and all things 80’s.
For hardcore action fans, the second act may appear slow, but these scenes really get the viewers invested in characters, both bot and human.
It was amazing that Decepticons were given a unique trait called personalities. Something completely absent in the Bay-Verse.
The ending is worth the price of admission as well.
I hope Bumblebee serves as a reboot instead of the original plan of being considered a “prequel” to the Bayformers.
