Odyssey was WAY better. It is a downgrade from odyssey. Not much choice in gear or appearance of the gear, the voice acting was AWFUL, the RPG was really bad, boring cutscenes where dialog choices were very limited compared to the great amount of choices that were presented in Odyssey, combat and controls were bad, side quests were boring I'd rather have conversation choices and a cutscene in sidequests than that basic lazy development of people just talking and the camera sitting in one place. Overall, Valhalla was a disappointment, my biggest issue with it was the downgrade of the RPG elements that were so amazing in Odyssey, here it was like I had no choices for the outcomes of the world, no choice on the character development of Eivor, no conversation choices (very limited), no story impact.
