I read the book and will say they put the general idea into the movie but went way off script, taking away the actual ambiance and riveting parts of the book. This movie, unlike the book, was not wrapped into a perfect gift. The pacing was really weird, majority of the movie was rushed but also very slow in odd parts. There was also not a lot of character interactions to build any reason for me to care about who or why things were happening. The physical look of the movie was great though. The acting and dialogue deliveries were especially off in this movie. The only well executed part of the movie was the ending.
