I wasn’t aware that there was another book I should have read first but I don’t think it really matters. This book was all over the place. They kept introducing new characters - for no understood purpose! The characters seemed to have no emotions regarding their father/husband and it was almost ridiculous how fast they were all calling each other siblings and in each others lives and being responsible for the youngest. The ending just fell off a cliff - left me very sorry that I had persevered through the book.
