I'm not sure why the author would write about this great entertainer and throughout the first 150 pages that I have read so far contradicts everything that Jackie Gleason either said or was known for. Sounds like William A. Henry III should have written about someone else! Pass on this read is my advise.

I read 205 pages and it dragged on with no real story other than the captain of the ship stubbornly stayed on board while it was being towed to port. The story could have been written in 4-5 pages.
