Terribly adapted if you read the books. The plot is somewhat similar but I think the changes to characters and plus misses the entire point. If you haven't read the books it will probably be an ok show given the CGI and lack of knowledge of the source material. Also, in their attempt to add diversity to the cast, which has been great, they also make up despicable events (e.g creating romantic partners that they "fridge" just to progress a character's storyline). Overall just a disappointment that they are changing so much for such little reasoning.
