My Beloved Monster is the most insightfully written memoir that I have ever read. This is a well documented account of parallel lives of Carr and his rescued Masha. Their story is heart wrenching but not sappy. I wish I could have know both. Hopefully, they are dancing together finding peace, love, healing.
