I finished both seasons in two evenings. The phrase 'unputdownable' for books, I believe was created for this show too.
The writing, story, the characters, specially Mama Najjar, are all top notch. It's rare that I've laughed and cried within minutes of each other.
It's very difficult to show humour in generational trauma and suffering, without coming across as hateful or preachy, but Mo not only achieves it, but passes with flying colours.
This is a show that's going to stay with me for a long, long time.
