I loved this book, it made me laugh so much I didn't want it end. I loved all the different characters and sceanarios the author created. . I look forward to reading more of her books.

I was drawn to the book by the unusual cover with all the different items on shelves. I'd never heard of the author but it appealed to me . I'm so glad I read this fascinating, funny heart warming book. The characters were wonderful and I loved Sunshine, the eulogy for Anthony had me laughing out loud. I've visited the Brighton Palace and could picture where Eunice scattered Bomber's ashes. Thank you for bringing pleasure to a reader.

Beautifully written. Loved everything about this book and couldn't put it down but didn't want it to finish! I love anything about the Irish and hope to read more if her books.

This was a book I couldn't put down. Tessa Hadleys wonderful descriptive words brought this family to life and made me want to be part if it. It was real life and she made the characters like seem like real people you. I loved the children. This is the first of her books I've read but it won't be the last.

Brilliant story and I found it a compelling read. I loved the relationship Evan had with his grandfather Jack and how he helped his grandson sensitively, to be the boy he had been. Highly recommend this book.
