Absolutely horrible.
Why would Andy Muschietti leave behind the brilliant talent of real actors (aka Skasgaard and the old lady playing Ms. Kersh) and instead use too much of the overly cheap and not scary at all CGI?
The jumpscares were too easily predicted, the storyline was rushed and adult actors seemed stiff. The humor was low-bar too. 3/10
