MINOR SPOILERS FOR PARTS 1-5 AHEAD
Memes aside, this show is actually very enjoyable. I was kinda bummed about Hamon kind of just being forgotten after part 2. The art style is unique, and it changes each part. The OST and Openings are really pleasing. Currently as of November 5, 2020 parts 1-5 are animated. I can't wait for the anime version of part 6! I like the Stands and their abilities. All of their abilities are pretty creative. I love the character designs, especially in part 4.
I like it when we go from one generation to the next. First, Jonathan, Joseph, Jotaro, it goes on. We basically follow the adventures of the Joestar bloodline and all.
Part 1 is the shortest part, but it is still very well written. A lot of people dislike part one, BUT IT IS THE MOST IMPORTANT PART OF THIS WHOLE FREAKING FRANCHISE DON'T GET ME WRONG. I have no clue how Hirohiko Araki was able to make Jonathan Joestar, the main character, a gentleman, but a very enjoyable character at the same time! Maybe because compared to Dio, Jonathan is an innocent beef cake, but anyway, I say START AT PART 1 I DON'T APPRECIATE PART SKIPPERS. AND PART SKIPPERS, IF YOU ARE READING THIS, YOU ARE MISSING OUT ON SPEEDWAGON AKA BEST WAIFU.
Part 2's protagonist is Joseph Joestar, Jonathan's grandson. This part is longer than part 1 but shorter than the rest. The character designs are pretty unique in this part too, with the bright and colorful scarves our main characters wear. The OST is actually pretty hype.
Part 3... where they introduce Stands... oh boy. Probably the longest part too. The main protagonist is Jotaro Kujo, who is Joseph's grandson. And haha DIO's here again. The stands in part 3 have unique names. Being named after tarot cards and stuff... Anyway, let's appreciate character design in this part too, with Kakyoin's hair noodle and Polnareff's silver hair that's the shape of a log. OST is hype as always and the final fight with Jotaro and DIO at the end is AMAZING.
In my opinion, the best part is part 4 (I'm sorry Mista) because of the character designs as I mentioned earlier. They are very bright and colorful. The art style is very different from the other part's art styles. Josuke Higashikata is the main protagonist. Anyway, he's here vibing with his friends Okuyasu, Koichi, and Jotaro as he befriends all the Stand users in his Crazy Noisy Bizarre Town... except one. *AHEM HAND FETISH MAN* And Josuke's theme is criminally underrated.
Part 5... with all the male strippers. This was in my opinion, my least favorite part. Giorno Giovanna is the protagonist. He wants to be a Gangstar~ and stuff. Let me make this quick. Giorno's theme is a meme and that was the only reason I was able to make it through part 5. Other than that, I really dislike it.
Sorry, that was too long to be a summary of the series, so here's my summary: Buff men screaming and punching each other.
Anyway, 10/10 I recommend. It's an amazing anime, although it can get quite violent.
