Don't know what all the hype is about. I found it challenging to watch it from start to finish. I like the cast, understand the premise, etc...etc...but it was kind of stupid. It was all over the place. I wanted to like it and kept hoping for a turning point that never happened.

Brilliant writing. Jeremy A White absolutely slayed his role. He was a superstar in Shameless and continues to outdo himself in The Bear. You'll love the characters and enjoy watching their relationships develop. The Fishes episode was so powerful and moving. Sugar and Carmy absolutely broke my heart for the pain they endured. 😢😭 The table scene depicted real-life hard, painful, and downright sad stuff that families go through. Outstanding acting. This show absolutely deserved the Emmy they won. 🏆👏👏👏

I was quite disappointed. I understand the premise and applaud the director for it, but the entire film was underdeveloped and lacked connectedness. Many scenes were too wide open for interpretation and other elements of the plot were rather abortive. I didn't care for any of the characters or their performances. I kept waiting, hoping, and willing it to draw me in.......One of the least captivating films I've ever seen.
