Enjoyed it. Thought the author really made a great effort in presenting Oceania and its political landscape to the reader. Being a massive fan of the original, it took me a few pages to accept this telling in a different writing style but glad I persisted. Without spoiling it for others, the 3 stars is for something fundamental in the telling which didn’t sit well with me at all. But still, recommend
