So the male CEO from legacy gets taken over by virtuosic diverse girl boss that weighs 90lbs, but can take down 250lbs grown men, and has to go against evil white guy who wants to do evil things? Yawn.. do these movie companies ever get tired of writing the same crap over and over again?

Just what you’d expect. All the male characters are dumb and evil, all the female ones powerful and hyper intelligent. The synths working for “boy genius” are for whatever reason weaker, less powerful, and useless compared to the synths controlled by 9 year old children. The main character Wendy is by far the worst one. Logic = none from her. “Oh why did you shock my friend?” Well because she was tearing my friends apart limb from limb. “Oh so you’re saying she’s not a person?” 🤦🏻‍♂️. This show was a painful watch, and left me with a headache from how dumb it was. Last thing, and this one is especially dumb… they paint the aliens as the good guys, and just “misunderstood”. You know.. the bioengineered parasites designed to end global populations? Yeah……

Haven’t seen a show that kept me at the edge of my seat like this, in a long time.

Is the writers strike still going on in Hollywood? Because this is the worst story/script I’ve ever seen. I honestly think ai would’ve done a far better job generating a good script, because this movie, much like its dinosaurs, has a few extra chromosomes. Hollywood hasn’t been able to write a half decent story since prior to Covid. Wanna know the worst part? The worst part, is that this abysmal excuse for a movie will still break $1 billion at the box office, so they’ll keep making trash movies because they know they’ll remain profitable. If you have a higher than room temperature IQ, you’ll despise this movie. If your IQ is room temperature, you’ll probably love it. All this, btw, is coming from a Jurassic PARK fanatic. I constantly rewatch the Jurassic Park movies, but never see myself revisiting the JW movies.

Best show I’ve seen in years. Not even a slight exaggeration.

Listen, I swear I’m not nitpicky… but the acting and script is TERRIBLE! The effects and visuals are amazing, I’ll give it that, but Jesus Christ. I’ve seen far superior acting in low budget Bollywood movies. The acting feels like something you’d see in a first year high school drama class. Emotionless, robotic, and bland. Now onto the script writing. Listen, I know a word by word, scene by scene identical adaptation would be boring… but man, did they change a lot. Jet being in omashu, Zuko and iron being in omashu, admiral zao (zhao?) going to kioshi island. They changed specific things that really didn’t need to be changed, and had no real purpose in being changed in the first place. I’m HOPING that Netflix will learn from the mistakes of the first season, and make a far superior second season. Maybe make the cast go through acting lessons? Idk what the solution is, but something definitely has to change.

Best Dracula movie ever. Goes to show you, that any movie critics like, probably sucks, and any movie critics hate, is probably the best.

Universal will take over as the dominant force. Super Mario and Puss in Boots were both fantastic movies, without any identity politics, or cringey preachy garbage that, for some reason, has found its way into every new Disney Movie. Push this stuff at your own peril, Disney.
