Its not bad, yall are just homophobic. The plot, while basic (save the mcguffin before its destroyed) has an actually good twist that had me yelling 'no way' from it coming out of nowhere and making so much sense! One of the main turn-aways for people seems to be the fact that the protagonist is gay. though I would highly doubt a 3-11 year old would be listening to find out about it. and its only mentioned 3 times! once when he's talking to his romantic interest (being awkward like Every Teen Ever) a second time during the half point and another at the end of the movie. and this is the thing Everyone Talks about. They dont even kiss or make out! and everyone is going crazy with anger about it! (TL:DR kids wont notice the protag' is gay, they talk about it 3 times, and theirs no kissing) I hardly see why theirs so much hate, in an age where people are becoming more and more accepting of LGBTQ+ culture, they're still being discriminated against. so in conclusion Gay Rights.
