DO NOT BUY THIS GAME.
I purchased this game for my Nintendo Switch from the eShop. In a matter of days it became completely unplayable. At first, it would crash every time I tried to customize the characters on my Quidditch team. This was very annoying and time consuming, but I figured a future update would clear up the bug. I tried the available troubleshooting recommended by WB Games of turning my Switch off and then on again. It didn’t help. But then, after making the mistake of playing online with players from around the world, a core feature of the game, it crashed permanently in the middle of a match. When I tried to power the game back on, it would crash on the startup loading screen. every. single. time.
WB Games’ solution to these issues is to treat its customer base as unpaid play testers, where we are forced to post the bugs we experience on message boards and vote for them so the developers have an idea of what updates to prioritize, but this practice is wholly unacceptable to me. It is not my job as a consumer to play test a launched game. Once a game is released to the general public it should be beyond that stage.
Best refund I ever received.
Do not waste your money on this game, but know that if you do, it falls under Nintendo’s exception to their “no refund” rule, because the game is broken beyond repair.
