This anime is pretty good. The main character is very OP, yet it does not detract from the story, but adds to it. In the first minutes of the anime, we see how the MC is betrayed in his previous world, which forces him to be reincarnated into another. This event shapes the character of Seika (the MC) into someone with deep trust issues that covers himself with layers upon layers of lies and fake smiles. Yet at the end of the season, we finally get a glimpse of the real character that was hiding behind his shell, which was a cathartic feeling for me.
The MC in this story can be compared to Ainz from Overlord, where you do not know what kind of untold level of cruelty he can bring forth with his unfathomable powers. Yet, contrary to Ainz, there is still a kind but confused person underneath it all.
The other characters are all interesting in their own way, but the Holy Princess was the most interesting for me. You never know what is a truth and what is a lie behind her smile. In a sense, she is as layered a character as Seika is. Her presence also adds deep mystery to the plot and twists it on many occasions.
By the end of the season, I was left thinking about the world of this anime, wanting to watch more, which is definitely a big plus. I think if you like power fantasies, but want them to be done in a somewhat mature way, this anime will scratch that itch for you.
PS: One last note, this anime also uses the trope of "MC is OP but because no one understands his power, everyone thinks he is super weak". But that's only present in the first few episode. By ep 3 or 4, people fully understand that he is immensely powerful. This note is just for those of you who absolutely despise this trope (I do too).
