F.....g loved this book- I'm biased- I'm 55 and have been an all time Joy Division fan from the age of 13. I've read a few good books in my time and I feel that this is a book written by a high standard career journalist with a passion and expertise grip of the English language. Particularly enjoyed the reference to 'Heart of Darkness' near the end of the book.
Thanks Paul you took me back to Manchester, gave me some real cool background History . And then I was in for the ride- the journey- I reckon a life much lived. I thank you and salute you.
