Important story! However, this movie didn't ever try to tell it. Scorsese created an angst-y role for DiCaprio while short- changing the Osage Indians' story. Face it....Ernest Burhardt got in the way of Mollie's pathos and, besides, Lily Gladstone did a much better job than DiCaprio and De Niro. I felt cheated.

Too much racism and hate for a Christmas release. Also, the premise is way too far fetched and the mythology for the Mayan hidden kingdom is too similar to the Book of Mormon to be a coincidence..... I recommend that Marvel universe go back to being adventure based comic book and drop to pretend they have a religio-ethnic-political agenda that is worthy of the times. Special effects were good. So they got that much right.
