Lovely. Only caveat is last sentence, empathy is not "I know what it's like down here, or I've been here before" which is relating or identifying, it's being able to walk in the others persons shoes with them by listening and appreciating their unique experiences. How they see it, based on their lens and outlook, which will have been shaped and formed differently from yours.
