Compared to alot of Waynes movies it gets 3.5 stars. Still i really enjoyed it. Would have been more believable if the lost city would have actually been lost instead of out in the open for anyone to find. Stumbling accross a small cave opening where they found water and upon clearing the entryway they eventually discover the lost city buried in the sand would have been much more interesting and believable. Still i liked it and the cast.

For a low budget movie it was very well done. The musical score was spot on for the various scenes in the movie. As much as i enjoy stories about true events dealing with ww2 i cant believe ive never heard about this historical event. This movie is a must see by anyone. On a side note there is a fantastic book called A distant prayer about a miraculas escape from a German prison camp in ww2. Great true story of a B17 pilot shot down over over Germany. Cant beleve no one has made it into a movie yet.
