I think this movie was a great example of a musical adaptation as CGI and other movie magic added to the feel of the plot. Cats is weird on its own but this movie made more sense to me. The animation helped the actors flow and move like cats. It showed personality and emotion. Also the music (new and old) is spectacular and the new voices bring ALW’s lyrics to life. I enjoyed this movie and if I had to give a warning it’s this: don’t go in as a movie critic, go in with a light heart because by the end of the movie you will be wanting to dance with the movie.
