As much as I love SongKang in Sweet Home 1&2, Navillera & especially Nevertheless..for some reason My Demon is not giving me that ultimate Kdrama vibes.. the plot is bit messy & writing is all over the place. Both leads’s chemistry is not as natural and it seems a bit force. I’m expecting more of Kim YuJoong’s acting since she’s already a veteran but she hasn’t got that niche for comedic timing, her characterisation of the female lead seems a bit bland & at times exhaustively exaggerated. I still continue to watch it since they’re both eye candy & very nice to look at, but other than that I prefer to watch other Kdramas currently airing not onNetflix… like Moon in the Day & The Story of Park’s Marriage Contract both on Viki! Sorry but My Demon is such hype, bit disappointing really

I’ve been watching Kdramas since 2016, and I will surely add Mr Queen as one of my top 10 Kdrama together with Goblin, Whats wrong with Sec Kim, Mr Sunshine, coffee prince, CLOY, kill me heal me, Healer, Moon Lovers, My Love from the stars, You are my Destiny, Itaewon Class I feel all good vibes and camaraderie amongst the cast... oozing chemistry between Kim Jung Hyun & Hye Sun 👌🏻❤️

Sorry …. by love in the moonlight fans or park Bo gum fans, can’t really stand his acting here… so unbearable.. I watched and like him in Reply1988 but that’s just about it. Me and my husband like watching K- period drama like queen for seven days, moon embracing the sun, Empress Ki, mr sunshine & Mr Queen. He stumbled upon moonlight in Netflix, but oh boy I’ve dropped it on Ep 7-8, awful to watch, very weak protagonists, very shallow writing and poor character development. The female lead character was just too weak… she knows it’s very dangerous inside the place with all those troubles she went through questioning her identity, but boy she still stayed wven though the prince can’t give a practical solution on how they can proceed with their little puppy clandestine love affair without deceiving everyone in the palace. If I was her, I will choose the Premier’s grandson to help her escape the palace and live freely as a woman rather than a pretentious eunuch. And besides she’s not really convincing as a “man”….. don’t waste your time watching this, there are other period kdramas worth spending your time watching.
