The movie was a surprising, well executed and thoughtful story of the life of Reggae Superstar, Bob Marley. As a Jamaican who lived through the political upheaval in our beautiful country in the 1970’s, One Love does a great job of recreating the feeling and scenes of the days and portrays the struggle of our people in this difficult time. I thought the acting was brilliant and the patois, Bobs personal nuances including his beautiful smile was captured in detail by the filmmakers. Bobs message delivered in his music shone through in this movie and we, the audience, left feeling uplifted and positive. What more can one ask a of a movie than to lift one’s spirit and give us hope in a troubled world. Big up Paramount!
