Abby Oueik

The book had an intriguing start, drawing me in with potential, but unfortunately, the storyline deteriorated as it progressed. The ending felt abrupt and left me wondering why it concluded that way. I found Avery, the main character, to be frustratingly self-absorbed, which made it hard to connect with her journey. The plot, while initially engaging, quickly became tedious and unrealistic. Despite my dissatisfaction, I pushed through to the end, as I have a hard time not finishing a book. Unfortunately, this one didn’t leave a lasting impression.
