Loved it! Was it different than the animation? Sure. Did it still have it original essence? I would say so. Did it feel like they cramped a bunch of episodes into one? Not really. Did they change some of the stories for fluidity? Yes, but how they were morphed made sense. I recommend that you watch it with an open mind and not expect a shot for shot, although they did have quite a few. I really enjoyed how they had more of the backstory for the airbenders, the spirit world and how they introduced the past avatars. It’s a little bit more serious in tone than the children’s version but I enjoyed that change. So do I want a season 2 so I can see Toph metalbend? Heck yeah!
