It is a great movie but the point is no one wants to die. Human are complex so it can be possible too. Some are like, "If I will have this and this, then I will be happy and if not then I will find some other alternative. I am afraid of dying." and some are like, "If I will not have this and this then there is no point of continuing life" and this kind of people can sacrifice there life. But for a cause, like rape and murder, then I have to think for this. Maybe no one wants to have any such accusation before dying. This makes the movie unrealistic in most of the cases. The girl Berlin, I thought she was told to accuse him of rape at the first place so that everyone must think later that it could be him for sure, well if not then David himself made his life miserable by doing sex with her. He was married and he had one son too.

It's a good movie if you are watching it for entertainment but in reality I don't think this exist. The woman Hanna suffered so much only because of her secret and the secret was as simple as anything-'illiteracy'. If I would be there, I don't think I would have done this ever. If you are illiterate make yourself study that's simple. Why sacrifice yourself? No one is going to make fun of you if you are illiterate. I don't think this is a secret though. An affair with anyone like the kid had with Hanna, this can be a secret because first there is nothing to do with that, secondly there was the lust and not the love so people will find it weird if someone is going to know that he had lust, thirdly it can affect there marriage, so this can be called that this is a secret but if this secret is leading you to life imprisonment than better to not keep the secret.

I really like this Thappad movie. After reading some of the reviews I have something here to say. Some might think this movie as a feminist one, or anti men or this can impact the society just because a thappad. What I believe is all the men and women who have given positive replies are ok. And rest of them who gave negative one is also ok. These belief of men and women is not made in a day. They learned thorough experience and what life had for them until now. What I see through different angel, it’s very true that marriage is a sacrifice. Everything you choose will be served with problems. You can’t run away from it. In this respect, A thappad causing Divorce is just like exaggerating things. In real life every marriage has this issue, not only for women but men too. This thappad caused limelight only because something is still missing in society. Something still needs to talk about. If I were at Amrita’s place, I would have hit him back (in front of everyone). Divorce was not the right solution. But at least I learned one or two values in life and one must always look through this angel. I don’t know how people think a single movie will impact the society. I don’t find the woman’s character too strong which makes it unrealistic. She doesn’t have any job of her own and it will be hard for her to continue for long. One more solution to this is, if a man or woman think he/she can’t sacrifice anything then they must choose not to marry. In marriage, everyone has to sacrifice. (Violence is not the solution)
