Don’t trust the trailer. It’s not a scary movie. It’s confused, trying to be too many things. It pretends to be a scary movie, but it doesn’t try very hard to scare. It tries to be thought provoking, but without enough depth to succeed. It flirts with becoming an action movie (but just for a moment), and then makes a vague nod to conspiracy theorists without going anywhere. Very unsatisfying.
