Who isn’t ready for a good, older-folk rom-com these days?! I just wish this one delivered more, or better.
David Duchovny is still hot and thoroughly enjoyable. Meg seems to be trying to hold on to her earlier adorableness a bit too much.
And the deserted airport I just didn’t buy. I wouldn’t have cared that this detail didn’t flesh out, if there had been more substance, or more action or whimsy or what, I can’t quite say.
Even their history, as it was piece-mealed to us, became too predictable, and just a bit too “pure”, for lack of a better description.
All in all, I miss Nora even more.
