I absolutely loved this movie. It's visually amazing, the music and soundtrack were super - and the script was really outstanding. Like many good films, the story has themes of redemption, sacrifice, the nature of 'family,' and what makes true 'greatness' in a leader. I took my 10 and 11 year olds, who also enjoyed it, but as an adult I found the themes profound and moving. I'd definitely watch it (and probably cry!) all over again.

Very compelling viewing. Superb performances from Gemma Arterton and Aisling Franciosi. This series should win awards.

Brilliant script and acting, thought provoking and with humour thrown in, too. Looking forward to season 2.

Excellently acted and scripted. Found parts of it very moving, too.
