Gritty story of an Indian’s tough upbringing & eventual fall into alcoholism. Amazing that he overcame addiction & went on to successful career as a cartoonist. Also some insight into his struggles with his Indian culture & the protest over the keystone oil pipeline. Nicely drawn with hints of Jack Davis, Will Eisner & even Bill Griffith in the panels stuffed with information.

Nice atmosphere for 1950s Paris. Good character development from guy friend to cantankerous aunt to room mate. Strings you along in a nice storytelling way until satisfying ending.
