Awesome! I loved the twist on it. The music was awesome, the casting was superb! Taraji debut her beautiful voice. Danielle, Fantasia, H.E.R, Halle and others, WELL DONE! I appreciated seeing cameos of seasoned actors as well. I can go on an on. Job will done OW and crew! Please do not compare 1985 (original movie) to the 2023 version of Color Purple. Open your eyes and mind when you walk into the movie theater. This is a great movie/musical.
