New York Times Bestseller?! For me, it was the worst book I've read in quite a while. Story is VERY slow to start and drags on until suddenly in the last few chapters the reveal is sprung on the reader. Folklore and history aside, a family taken over by a fungus is just plain silly, and the description of the story even sillier. Not recommended.
