I share with many of the views already posted. This is not asking for "suspension of disbelief" it requires a suspension of IQ. Never insult the intelligence of your audience. The script and filming are a painful mess. The story line and filming are so bleak and lacking in credibility. Just way too many "are you kidding me moments?" The racism is appalling. I got through episode 1 only 1/2 way through when the brutality really began. I am not coming back for more. Given the cast, directors, etc... it is such a huge disappointment, I mean really what on earth were they thinking making this horrible mess of a show? Showtime does quality. They messed up here.
