As a biologist, for me, this movie turned out to be unexpectedly gripping with a storyline that was fast-paced, but did not initially seem too promising.. but whoa... it's a very intelligently written storyline.. kinda had elements from the Saw movies. I wasn't disappointed. Nothing supernatural... although it almost tends towards being science fiction with a major bio element as the title clearly tells us.

I love animated movies. Always have. The reason I disliked the movie despite decent animation and a creative storyline was because I felt absolutely nothing when I watched this movie except “how much longer?” And I’m saying this as a person who sobbed during Brave, Coco, Rise of the Guardians, and rewatched Tangled, Frozen, Shrek,etc. a million times. I think the story had a lot of potential that was unfortunately not utilized.
